WOW! What a perfect song!

The smiles were just wonderful to watch, really contagious and I had a huge grin on my face by the end.

However, what blew me away most was your gorgeous editing - timing and beat matching are to die for and you just knocked the whole thing right out of the park with spot on cuts and clip choices.

That's Awesome!!!! I especially love all the car shots and how Dean's air drums match the drum beats in the song! Wheeeee!!!

Buuuuuuut. I've purchased a new computer and don't think vid making wasn't on my mind when I did it. Of course, I didn't purchase it for that reason........

Anyway, if I do get back into it (another SPN related time suck...just what I need!) I'm gonna need to relearn everything. (and learn how to 'put it down' in a timely way and not let it totally consume me) Like, where do people get their episodes these days. (rip? DL? Can I even rip from my blu-ray episodes?) What is a good yet relatively inexpensive vid editor? (I haven't even checked what the latest movie maker can do? I'm only just now setting the new system up) How did you watermark your name on the entire vid? (I see that on alot of vids and it's pretty cool)

It's overwhelming because there's tons to learn before I could even get started on the fun part!

And I didn't mean to hijack your entire thread for a vid tutorial. But if you have some getting started advice I'll take it, of course ;)

I think that would depend on how spoilerphobic you are? I don't think there are any major plot points revealed. It's mostly shots of the Impala being awesome and the boys having fun.

LOL! Yes I do believe you did. I haven't forgotten about it! I'm down to one vid a year, woman--and I can barely even squeeze that in. Blame my muse and free time. They're conspiring against me!

I have no idea how people are getting their eps these days. I have a bunch of Stargate I'd like to re-rip WITH audio, plus Merlin and X-Files (and SPN WITHOUT logos), but I don't know what ripping program to get! My old one is kinda obsolete anymore, I think.

I use Pinnacle Studio 14 and I really like it. It's better than WMM and the original Pinnacle--especially since AVID bought them. I don't recall it being crazy expensive and it's rather user friendly.

Getting started is pretty much the hardest part, you're right!

We'll talk more! :) I have some figuring out still, myself.

BTW, that crazy little vid of SPN fans parody of Eye of the Tiger you put together a few years ago is up to 2600 hits! Kinda insane, right? lol. (p.s. if your photoshop skills are equally mad, I need to bug you for a favor... a group shot that needs to have 3 people added to it.)
